So, I’ve been doing a lot of promotion of the upcoming Web Design Workshop, Seminar, Bootcamp. I’ve called it a Workshop because that’s what I hope it will relay: a collaborative, interactive day of sessions where I will not only talk everyone through my own thoughts, but will answer questions and diverge into whatever comes up. But enough about it from me!
On Thursday of last week I, once again, gave a talk to the Twin Cities’ Creatives Group. This time, instead of doing a quick talk on what a designer should know before trying to design a web page for the web, I tried to expose what the limitations are in doing a good design for HTML email.
I gave a talk yesterday at the monthly meeting for the Twin Cities Creatives Group: we’re a group of professionals in the Twin Cities metro region, mostly traditional graphic designers, product designers, photographers, writers and few web designers. We have an email list and generally try to help each other when there are any questions of a design or technical nature.
