A Photoshop Template for Web Designers

Ten Seven works with many different graphic designers, each with their own preferences on how they work, where they start, what they provide to us. In the effort to redesign our own site, we came up with a template that (we think) works nicely. It’s based on the 12 and 16 column layout of the 960.gs system, with their template taken directly and a nice blank browser and background wrapped around it. I’m going to be pointing every graphic designer I know and work with to this page, so please feel free to download the template and use it as a basis for your designs. And if you feel like re-tweeting this post just point people to ten7i.com/960

This template is one zip file that contains two Photoshop documents created in CS 3. One document is a 12 column layout, the other a 16 column layout: choose the one that is appropriate for your design. And be sure to look at the 960 Grid System home page for inspiration and more information.
